As an already established international company and backed by excellent existing relationships with major French brands and agencies, we wanted to wait for the right time before committing to this unique market.
We are confident that this time has now come.
We are thrilled to announce that today, we are officially launching Brandwatch on the French market.
After spending the last few months working in the background, we are excited to finally reveal this new step in making Brandwatch the most international-friendly company and product in the world of social media monitoring.
Not only do we offer the highest number of fully-supported languages on the market, 44 to be precise, but we also help our customers in as many languages as possible.
We work with some of the biggest brands and agencies in the world and making sure their employees and affiliates have access to the best service possible – which includes having access to content specifically tailored to different markets – is important.
Brandwatch has long worked with quality data in French and from French sources, and plenty of the team here are French: salespeople, system admin, web designer, our head of client operations, among many others.
In fact, over the past decade the foundations of the company were laid in part by Fabrice Retkowsky, our CTO and original resident Frenchman.
“If you’re not ready for everything, you’re not ready for anything.” – Paul Auster
Brandwatch is built with efficiency, transparency, innovation and quality at its core. When we do things, we do them well.
Accordingly, we took our time to learn about the market and get to know its quirks by working together and building strong relationships with some first class French brands and agencies including L’Oréal, Publicis Groupe Services, PRO BTP, DigitasLBi and the US branch of Michelin.
We also made sure that we had the human and technical resources we needed, and that our product was efficient and reliable in French.
One such preparation is that Vizia, our command center product, will soon be available in French.
The time is right. We’re ready and confident. It’s time to say “bonjour”.
So what’s new?
There’s plenty to talk about. Along with our new French website, here is an overview of what you can expect going forward:
- A team entirely dedicated to the French market from your first point of contact on a screen or on the phone, to someone who supports and guides you with the platform once you’ve become a customer.
- Reports: we have translated some of our industry reports illustrating how social listening can be used in a variety of sectors, focusing specifically on industries that we thought would be relevant for the French market. There will be more to come looking specifically at the French market in the coming months.
- Case studies: we share some of our clients’ successes, and analyze how they practically achieved it using Brandwatch to get better results. Why not (re)discover how PRO BTP, a leading pension and insurance group in France, got closer to its clients using Brandwatch. Going forward, we’ll be looking to produce new stories with French enterprises, so do get in touch if you have an compelling story you’d like to share with the world.
- New blog posts every week, with information and tips about how to get the most out of Brandwatch and social listening in general, but also social analysis on what makes the news in France.
- Social media: we’ve started new French accounts on Twitter and Facebook to discuss anything marketing, technology and social media related in the Molière tongue and current French events.
Voilà!
We hope that you’re as excited as us for this new adventure.
